Maternity Sessions are done in my home studio or at an outdoor location 

 

How Much?

 

Maternity Sessions are $250 and includes the following -

 

• 1 hour photo session

 

• Family members are included in the photoshoot complimentary

 

• Upto 20 edited High Resolution images on USB

 

 

 

The ideal time to have your professional maternity photography shoot is somewhere between 32-38 weeks pregnant while you’re still reasonably comfortable and mobile.  It’s all about the ‘bump’ and a rounder tummy will only improve the overall effect of your stunning maternity images.  If you leave it any later than 38 weeks you run the risk of missing out if your newborn decides to surprise you by arriving early, as did my baby girl arriving 3 days before my maternity photography session.

 

Location

 

Maternity photography shoots can either be held in my natural light home studio or you can choose to book an “On-Location” session at an agreed outdoor location.

 

Time

 

The session usually takes 45-90 minutes which allows plenty of time for 2-3 outfit changes and because it is your personal session, you can wear as little or as much as you feel comfortable with.

 

What to Wear?

 

What should you wear? Consider outfits that accentuate your beautiful bump, long flowing dresses or a skirt with bandeau top or whatever you feel most comfortable in.  If you prefer the boudoir style you may like to wear a lace bra with matching knickers.  For outdoor shoots a light coloured flowing dress is always a nice fresh look, personally I love feminine lace tops or pastel colours -preferably no stripes or bold loud prints. If you’d like photos with your partner then please make sure that you’re not wearing ‘clashing’ colours or prints.  I find that jeans with a plain coloured shirt is always a safe option for partners.

 

 

I highly recommend that you wear makeup for your shoot and perhaps even consider having your makeup and hair professionally done.  Not only will this make you feel pampered and special but you’ll look and feel your best on the day – after all it may be a while before you get pampered again after your newborn arrives.  Don’t forget the little details too like making sure your nails are neat and manicured so you don’t have to hide your hands as I usually take a few close up images of just “the bump” with your hands.

• A 20% Deposit must be placed in order to secure your chosen date within 48hours of booking.

• Session Fees are due in full on the day.

• Your photos will be ready within 2weeks.
